From humble beginnings in East Africa to a modern manufacturing facility in Mauritius — our journey has always been about one thing: making exceptional products for brands that care about quality.
WHERE WE STARTED
The Knitting Hub story starts in East Africa in the early 1990s, when our founders; Anant & Vibha Parmar established a textile manufacturing operation in Uganda. What began as a modest factory grew steadily over two decades — earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship, dependable delivery, and the kind of personal service that only a family business can provide.
In 2021, we made a strategic move. We relocated our manufacturing base to Mauritius — a country with a deep heritage in textile production, world-class infrastructure, and a suite of preferential trade agreements that give our clients duty-free access to the US, EU, UK, and African markets.
